The Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers Program, funded by the Federal Government and delivered by VERTO in NSW, Victoria and the ACT, assists older workers to plan their career, by providing individual advice and guidance on transitioning to new career opportunities. This can include identifying education or training opportunities that can be partly funded by the Federal Government’s Skills and Training incentives.
VERTO is a not-for-profit and registered charity that has been supporting the community for over 35 years. VERTO delivers a range of programs that can assist older Australians achieve better employment and education outcomes. These programs include the Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers program, Vocational Training Courses and the Career Transition Assistance program.
