Have your say on the future of National Seniors

National Seniors’ members are being invited to have their say on the future of the organisation online or by attending a consultation in your nearest city.

Under the theme of ‘Vision 2020’, National Seniors is looking to gauge feedback from members on the purpose and vision of National Seniors, the values the organisation adopts and practices and the strategic priorities for the next five years.

As part of the process, member consultations will be held in Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. RSVP is essential.

Members are invited to attend a consultation to hear the board's future plan for the organisation and have their say.

“A clear plan to help guide National Seniors into the future is vital for a healthy and sustainable organisation,” National Seniors chief executive Michael O’Neill said.

“We want members to contribute their thoughts and help shape our way forward into the future.”

For several months the National Seniors’ board has worked on the Vision 2020 plan with input from the National Council, Policy Congress and management team.

“Now, the board is interested in hearing from members, branches and others about these key elements – not just for the current but for the years ahead to 2020 and beyond,” O’Neill said.

Those who cannot attend a consultation in person can have their say online.
