Need some help with career and employment options?

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations has launched a new service to help older jobseekers.

If you are considering the opportunities available to you in the lead up to your retirement, you may wish to access professional career advice.

The Federal Government's career advice telephone service has been established and is available to mature age Australians (aged 45 years and over) who wish to explore their employment options.

The service can put you in contact with assistance in your area or you can talk to a qualified career adviser who will work with you to identify your skills, explore career options and develop a personal plan to help you find employment or plan for that change in career.

The service is free and confidential. Phone 13 17 64 between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
