The National Seniors Board has appointed 10 members to the National Council after a comprehensive Expression of Interest process.
The Board received recommendations for appointment from the Board Appointments Committee.
The role of the National Council is to identify issues affecting the over 50s and ensure National Seniors is adequately representing its members.
It will also provide reflections and advice to the Board relevant to the continued development of the organisation.
The National Council is a peak governance element within the National Seniors structure.
