Planning for a successful retirement
On Tuesday 23 June, National Seniors Productive Ageing Centre hosted a free public forum that brought together leading experts to provide information about planning for a successful retirement.
Held at Melbourne Town Hall, the forum was host to guest speakers from Leadership Victoria, the University of New South Wales, Justice Connect Seniors Law, the Department of Human Services, the Municipal Association of Victoria, and the University of Melbourne.
Master of Ceremonies, Dr Janice Davies, guided the auidence through expert presentations on community leadership through volunteering, planning for retirement, legal issues associated with ageing, and government and community services available to support ageing at home.
