We're calling for change

Our mature age home care traineeship scheme policy

Our policy recommends that a national mature age traineeship program to attract quality mature age home care workers. The policy will reduce the home care workers shortfall, encourages people to work in home care and provides greater income and superannuation for older Australians.

National Seniors Australia has been calling for the national rollout of this successful pilot program to meet crippling workforce shortages in home care.
