Aged Care Royal Commission hearings reach WA


The Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety moves to Western Australia later this month as it continues its investigations into our aged care system.

Perth 

Dates: 24 – 28 June.

Venue: Commonwealth Law Courts, 1 Victoria Avenue, Perth.

The Perth hearing will inquire into the nature of person-centred care, advanced care planning and palliative care services. More information is available here.

Broome 

Dates: 17 June – 19 June. 

Venue: Broome Civic Centre, Jimmy Chi Hall, 27 Weld Street, Broome.

The Broome hearing will focus on care in remote areas, unique care needs of Indigenous Australians and issues of access and inclusion. More information is available here.
