National Seniors Travel has picked up top spot in the Online Travel Agency category at Scenic’s annual Night of Stars awards.
The black-tie event, held in Sydney at the weekend, recognised the achievements of Scenic’s top performing travel agencies and consultants in Australia and New Zealand.
National Seniors’ Travel General Manager Verity Noble said the award was a tribute to the organisation’s efforts to bring quality travel products and exclusive deals to the over 50s.
“We are thrilled to have our hard work and success recognised by Australia’s leading luxury travel company,” Ms Noble said.
“Our travel service is designed to make unique and wonderful experiences more accessible to National Seniors members throughout Australia and this Scenic award is great recognition of our efforts.
“At National Seniors Travel we pride ourselves on offering our consultants’ expert knowledge along with exceptional customer care.”
More than 200 guests attended the awards ceremony hosted by comedian Vince Sorrenti.
Five national awards were announced during the evening, along with awards to the top offices in each state. National Seniors Travel retained their Diamond status for 2017 as part of Scenic’s elite agent program.
Group General Manager, Sales & Marketing Australia/Asia Pacific, Anthony Laver, extended his congratulations to all the nominees and winners.
“This year, we celebrated the tenth anniversary of Scenic river cruise innovation. The Night of Stars honours the valued support of all our travel agent partners and their commitment to our products,” Mr Laver said.
