Membership Cancellation and Refund
National Seniors Australia provides a ten (10) day cooling-off period from date of initial payment / purchase of membership. If a refund is requested during this period, we reserve the right to charge a $10 administration fee to cover initial costs including processing, printing, postage etc. National Seniors Australia member cards must be returned for completion of refund.
Memberships are non-transferable. This includes transfer of any remaining payment or membership time period from an individual or joint cancelled membership.
You may cancel your membership at any time. If you choose to cancel your membership outside of the ten (10) day cooling-off period, no refund or extension will be given.
Under special circumstances, a joint membership may be divided. The first caller to request division of the membership will be assigned a single membership and will continue to receive the 50 something magazine and all correspondence for the duration of the remaining membership term. The secondary member will be assigned a single membership for the remainder of the membership term but will not receive the 50 something magazine until after the next renewal.
In the case of two singles combining to a joint membership, the member with the greatest time left until expiry will be deemed the primary member.
We reserve the right to vary membership fees from time to time.
Should the price change during the term of your membership, written advice of your membership renewal will specify the varied amount.

Automatic Renewal Billing
By opting to have your membership to National Seniors Australia automatically renewed each year you agree that on the first renewal date and at every subsequent renewal date we will advise you thirty (30) days prior to the renewal of your membership that we are about to charge your credit card for the renewal amount. The automatic renewal payment will be charged to your nominated credit card on or around 14 days prior to the expiry date of your existing membership term.
You must advise us of any changes to your membership, including change of bank or credit card details, or cancellations ten (10) working days before your renewal date.
After renewal date and payment, your new membership card will be mailed to you.
Your automatic renewal will remain in force until you make arrangements for it to be cancelled. You may cancel Automatic Renewal Billing on your account at any time.
You also expressly authorise the retention of all information, including (but not limited) to details of bank accounts or credit cards necessary for us to process the future payments as and when they fall due.
Further, you also agree to advise us of any change to those bank or credit card details should the need arise.
When purchasing from National Seniors Australia your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.
