Sculpture by the Sea


The world's largest free public sculpture exhibition, Sculpture by the Sea, returns to Sydney’s spectacular Bondi to Tamarama Beach Walk this October. First held in 1997, the exhibition continues to capture the hearts and minds of over 500,000 visitors each year. Now in its 24th year, the exhibition features over 100 impressive displays from renowned Australian and international sculptors spanning across the two-kilometre walk, providing visitors with plenty to admire as they stroll through.

Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix


A highlight of the global Grand Prix motorcycle racing season is the annual Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit will set the stage for an adrenaline-packed weekend as teams from across the globe race for victory.

This year, two Australians are set to compete in the premier class, making it an unmissable event for lovers of motorcycle racing.

Milbi Festival


Celebrating the Bundaberg Region’s iconic marine turtles, arts, culture, and Indigenous heritage, the Milbi Festival was first held in 2019 to help facilitate greater environmental and cultural awareness, inclusivity, and togetherness. Now in its third year, this one-of-a-kind festival centres around the beloved turtle, and offers unique and meaningful experiences including arts and culture events, environmental and family activities, and incredible food and drink.

Kakadu Bird Week


Ornithophiles from across the country descend upon the spectacular Kakadu National Park each year to witness the mass migration of magpie geese as they flock to billabongs to feed. 

The World Heritage listed Park is home to more than a third of Australia’s bird species, and the annual Kakadu Bird Week is the perfect opportunity to witness them in their magnificence. You might also be lucky enough to see other animals that call the region home including crocodiles, wallabies, snakes, lizards, brumbies, and buffalo. 

During the festival, visitors can take part in a range of activities including wildlife cruises, special lectures, cultural events, and of course, birdwatching tours.

Great Eastern Wine Week


This boozy 10-day festival features over 60 events that stretch across the 221km coastline of eastern Tasmania. Celebrating the people, the place, the stories, and of course, the award-winning produce of the region, the Great Eastern Wine Week is a great opportunity to meet the winemakers, growers, and producers behind some of Tassie’s most beloved wines.

While you’re there, why not pay a visit to some of the state’s most famous sites including St Helens, the Bay of Fires, Freycinet Peninsula, Wineglass Bay, and Maria Island.

Astro Rocks Fest


Astro Rocks Fest is an annual three-day event celebrating all things geology, astronomy, and culture. Adelaide Film Festival


Celebrating the best of Australian and international screen culture, the Adelaide Film Festival features a jam-packed program of screenings, forums, awards and prizes, special events, and more.

Held every two years, the festival is known as the ‘friendly festival’ and this year will showcase a curated selection of short and feature films, documentaries, and virtual reality productions.
