• Brief Details: The venue is the only community based Environmental Centre in the Metropolitan Region. It is opposite Lake Richmond which is the largest and deepest freshwater Lake in the Perth Region. The Centre is run by volunteers. The manager will provide a talk and tour of the facilities. At around 11.00am After the talk and tour of the facilities travel by bus to Hotel Vat 116 for lunch.
• Cost: Transport on Seniors Card is free. Members and Guests pay $10 as entrance charge and for morning tea and brewed coffee at the Centre. Lunch cost will be 50% discount on Main courses.
• Further Details: After the tour we return to the bus stop opposite and rejoin bus number 551, to the Hotel Vat 116 only 7 minutes away. Julian from Lyon, France is the Manager, and we get 50% of all Main Courses
After Lunch we join the Bus 551 in front to return to Rockingham Station , and then back to Perth.
Members are asked to catch the 10.08 train to Mandurah at Perth Underground Station. Members Wanting to catch on the way, Canning Bridge at 10.16; Murdoch at 10 23.
We arrive at Rockingham Station at 10.42 ,and then catch bus 551 in front of the Station at 10.47. Members wanting to bus from their homes need only to ring Transperth, give their address and say the need to catch the Mandurah train at 10.08 and they will detail your travel plan.
