Calls for stranded patients to be prioritised
NSA is calling for a cross-government taskforce to develop targeted solutions to ensure the needs of older people stranded in hospital are prioritised, as NSA's CEO Chris Grice shared with Jason Matthews on 4BC Brisbane’s Mornings.

The conversation continues around the thousands of older Australians, including around 900 in Queensland, who are stranded in hospital waiting for a place in residential aged care or for support at home services. NSA calls for these patients to be prioritised among federal, state, and territory governments.
