Cuts to bank teller services leaves behind older Australians
National Seniors Australia (NSA) is urging banks to invest in people, customer service, and to KEEP CASH accessible amid news that Westpac is replacing 200 bank tellers with concierges and a ‘digital first” approach. In a move that further endangers face-to-face customer service and leaves behind older Australians and others who rely on face-to-face banking, NSA warns of the risks and the need to consider older and more vulnerable customers.
