Health measures welcomed; Aged Care neglected. NSA responds to Budget.

NSA has welcomed cost-of-living and health measures including energy bill relief, higher bulk billing rates, more affordable medicines, an investment in the National Anti-Scam Centre and hopefully a continued freeze on deeming rates (this was not clear in the budget)

We were disappointed there was no funding to establish an inquiry into rising premiums and out-of-pocket health costs. And no additional funds for home care packages to reduce the current wait list. We will continue to prosecute these important issues in the lead-up to the election
