Activities


'Steady Steps' seniors exercise class at Centenary Uniting Church hall, Riverhills Rd.

Gentle exercise class run by a professional trainer (Ron). Includes some weights, bands, balance exercises, etc. Cost $8. Often followed by coffee and conversation at the local shopping centre.

about 9:00am for a start at 9:15am with exercises running to 10:15am.

Mah Jong - Every Thursday morning

Social game of Mah Jong,(we do not score) open to interested NSA members. Beginners welcome - we play from "The Mah Jong Players Companion" by P.A.Thompson & B Maloney. The games are often followed by lunch in the Mt Ommaney shopping centre food court, or lunch at The Monier Hotel.

9:00 - 11:50 - First 2 Thursdays each month Mt Ommaney Library meeting room, Third, fourth, (& fifth) Thursdays at Monier Hotel (back room)..

Evening Dinner

Members meet at the selected restaurant each month to try the different venues and cuisines within the Centenary suburbs area or nearby. Each member pays for their own meal selection.

Lunch at the Monier Tavern

Members gather for a social lunch at the Monier Tavern (Darra) on the 3rd Thursday each month. On Thursdays, Monier gives a 20% discount on main meals for seniors.

11:30 am for 12:00 pm on 3rd Thursday each month.

Coffee & Conversation

Members meet for a social coffee and get together at the Mt Ommaney shopping centre. (No meeting in December)

Last Tuesday each month - Mt Ommaney food court from 10:00 am
