Childers Art Day | 17 June 2026
Join us for a relaxed and welcoming day of creativity, connection, and artistic exploration at From Pencil to Stone: Making Art, Making Connections on Wednesday 17 June.
Hosted by the Childers Social Branch, this all-inclusive creative arts bus trip is designed especially for seniors who enjoy learning, making, and connecting with others. The day includes hands-on workshops led by local artists, morning tea at the Gin Gin Regional Courthouse Gallery, lunch and creative activities in Bundaberg, and return bus travel from Childers.
No previous art experience is needed. Activities are gentle, social, and designed to be enjoyed at your own pace.
Tickets are $49 per person and include transport, workshops, materials, morning tea, and lunch. We gratefully acknowledge funding support which has helped keep this event affordable for local seniors.

Departing Childers 9.00am sharp. Please arrive no later than 8.45am to ensure we depart on time to make the most of our time at Gin Gin Court House Gallery and the Book Boutique.

2:00pm – Depart Bundaberg
3:00pm – Return to Childers
