August Branch Meeting & Annual General Meeting
Arrival at 9:30am for a 9:45am start. Meeting includes refreshments, a guest speaker presentation, raffles, and updates on branch and national activities. Cost is $10.00 per person payable in cash on arrival. All members and guests welcome.
Our guest speaker is Trevor Hamley, an Australian Glaciologist who will recount his extraordinary adventure in Antarctica with eight Soviet expeditioners in 1983 in his memoir “Vodka in a Vegemite Jar: an Australian on a Soviet Antarctic Expedition”.
The Annual General Meeting will follow the branch meeting, commencing at approximately 11:15am at which all members and guests are welcome, however only current financial members are eligible to vote.
