More of what matters
How a subscription to Health Matters can be a part of your wellness journey.

National Seniors Australia’s popular Health Matters newsletter has entered an exciting new phase, moving to a bimonthly format to bring readers more in-depth, curated content on the issues that matter most to older Australians. The next edition, which will be in subscribers’ email inboxes on 11 June, promises another engaging mix of expert insights and practical information to support healthy ageing.
Each edition of Health Matters is carefully designed to deliver trusted, evidence-based content across key areas of wellbeing.
Readers can look forward to an article from internationally acclaimed nutritional biochemist, best-selling author, and speaker, Dr Libby (PhD), whose expert perspective complements a range of informative stories covering health, nutrition, fitness, and medical research.
Whether it’s understanding emerging health trends, improving everyday wellbeing, or staying informed about scientific developments, Health Matters continues to be a valuable resource for staying proactive about your health.
The recent transition to a bimonthly schedule has allowed us to deepen the newsletter’s focus and provide richer, more comprehensive articles in every issue.
This means readers can expect thoughtfully crafted content that goes beyond the headlines to offer practical advice and meaningful insights tailored to the needs of older Australians.
Health Matters is just one of several publications produced by NSA to keep members and readers informed and engaged.
The weekly Connect newsletter continues to deliver timely updates and news, as well as insights into NSA’s advocacy work on behalf of seniors.
The monthly Member Matters is available on the second Monday of the month and is exclusive to NSA members, offering insights into our research, feature articles, recipes, travel deals, and competitions.
Money Matters, emailed to its subscribers on the fourth Monday of each month, provides valuable guidance on managing finances, retirement planning, and economic trends.
The publication includes expert contributions from respected voices such as Paul Clitheroe and Effie Zahos from InvestSmart, ensuring readers have access to trusted financial news and analysis.
Your membership helps support these publications and NSA’s vital advocacy work. Membership helps fund campaigns and research aimed at improving the lives of older Australians, and influencing government policy on key issues such as cost of living, healthcare, superannuation, and age discrimination.
By staying informed through NSA’s publications and supporting its mission, members play an active role in helping shape a fairer, more inclusive future for all Australians as they age.
