Brief Details
This will be a two- and half-day Retreat involving staying at the New Norcia Monastery Guesthouse and at Gertrude’s College for a total of 32 persons. A Retreat program will be delivered by the Director of the Institute of Benedictine Studies. Three workshops are planned: two on the Benedictine contribution to the early church and Western civilization and on the arrival of the Benedictine monks to Australia. The story of New Norcia and the conversion of the indigenous peoples will be part of the second workshop.
