Our CEO Chris Grice discussed the impacts and risks of going cashless and proposed “paying it forward” (with cash) to keep this valid form of currency circulating!


Our CEO, Chris Grice, spoke to Brisbane Radio 4BC’s Laurel, Gary and Mark on Friday 09/02 on concerns about Australia becoming a “cashless society”. This followed reports of more bank closures and the refusal by a Parliament House café to accept cash from MP Bob Katter.


Cash is still a valid form of currency that should be accepted, says our CEO, Chris Grice, in response to Parliament House staff dining room’s refusal to accept Queensland MP Bob Katter's $50 note when he tried to order fish, rice, and vegetables for lunch.
