New research by Macquarie University suggests varying access to the Age Pension from state-to-state depending on life expectancy. The research found a five[5] year gap between Australians with the longest life expectancies in the ACT and the shortest life expectancies in the Northern Territory. NSA CEO Chris Grice discusses the challenges of an already complex current Age Pension system, the need to simplify the system as well as the benefits of a Universal Pension on Melbourne’s 3AW.
